A healthy body means a healthy and happy person. Dietetics is the practice of learning and applying the fundamentals of proper food and substance intake to promote the healthiest and happiest self. Foods can also be therapeutic in times of need and help promote a balanced mind and body. I am a firm believer in what you put in your body helps fuel it for the future and in different stages of life we have different fueling needs.


Science tells us that "a body in motion, stays in motion." In a world where we are living longer but not necessarily living healthier, we need to keep our muscles, bones and all the systems of the body moving in order to improve longevity. Each body is different and can tolerate different amounts and kinds of exercise. Finding your personalized movement 'sweet spot' and being consistent will dramatically improve your overall health.

It is the most over-looked area of our lives and our medical care system. This piece of the puzzle regulates all aspects of life. Although mental health and wellness is a growing field, it is nowhere near where it needs to be in order to make a global impact on the quality of lives of ALL people. Learning simple techinques, practicing non-judgement and possibly the use of a mental health professional might just be the missing key to unlock your door to wellness.
